Experience has taught us that children whose parents participate and show enthusiasm turn to be best achievers. They enjoy activities and all challenges, but parents who are non participants create an impression that reading is worthless and therefore should not be prioritized. They make development hard to attain and maintain in excellence. Vision's program is very inclusive and it requires a collective approach. Parents need to understand our program's fundamental and must all the time be willing to follow up on their children's progress. At Vision we have 4 progress report meetings, that is, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th terms. By so doing a child's progress is well monitored and parents have 1st hand knowledge of what needs to be improved or required.
As a parent it is of great importance to read books on parenting. Great parents read a lot in order to have best understanding of how to nurture their children into right direction. As parents today, we are faced up with too many challenges that we sometimes miss out on how to raise our own kids. We let our children off our side, and we do not realize that by doing so we make them vulnerable. Incompetence will be the order of the day. As a parent you'll find yourself attending meetings about your child's poor performance at school. Start now to pave way for competence.
